Insight: The Elements

A unique and exciting way to engage the periodic table! Learn what "Hg" and "Fe" stand for, all while having fun with friends and family. The periodic table is divided into four convenient blocks (s,p,d,f), each with its own set of cards. The cards are double-sided, allowing for varied difficulty. One side of each card contains a list of 4-7 element symbols and their names. The flip side shows a graphic of a block of the periodic table, with the same elements highlighted. During gameplay, players identify a matching chemical element between two cards in a block. In competitive mode, players aim to find as many matches as they can, as fast as possible. The fastest and most accurate player wins. In cooperative mode, players work together to either play all of their cards (laid-back version) or to discard the fewest total cards (strategic version).

• FUNDAMENTAL SCIENCE - Element name, symbol, atomic number, and position on the periodic table are represented on all game cards.
